From the very first minute I walked into H-D of Louisville, until the moment I rode out on my new Harley, my buying experience can only be described as fantastic! There was no pressure, no hard sell, none of the annoyances one would find at other vehicle purchasing facilities, i.e car dealerships. " Just thought I would drop you a line and tell you about the Great Service I received at Harley-Davidson Louisville. Sunday 8 June the H.O.G. Chapter had a dinner run to Leavenworth IN. It was a great ride and good food. On the way home my Exhaust "Y" on the rear cylinder spit. I rode into the Service Department at 9 am on Monday morning (w/o Appt). I talked to Mark about my problem. I then explained to him I needed it back fast so we could go to the KY State H.O.G. Rally. He did not have the part in stock. But, was able to order it and get me back on the road. I picked up my Ultra on Tuesday 10 June. The repair and service was GREAT! I would like to thank you all for all your support. It is nice to know that they will do anything to meet peoples deadlines. Breakdowns always happen when you have something planned. I know that Harley-Davidson Louisville has people that really care. If you have customer comment cards I would like to fill one out once I return fromthe Rally. Thanks, David Haynes"

" Hello I am writing to tell you about a wonderful experience that I had this morning working with your service department Service Rep *Jim Martin. I have recently purchased a brand new 2008 Ultra Classic Firefighter Edition. I have less than 600 miles on the bike and the ideal was sticking open and not work as it should when I talked to Jim he advised that it would be a week before they could get the bike in to be looked at. Jim asked if I had a minute and said that he would check to see if there where any type of fixes I could do on my own. When he came back to the phone he gave me exact instructions on how to cycle to ignition and get the throttle reset. It worked the first time!!! I then called Jim back and thanked him for his help. It is service like this the will keep me as a loyal customer and keep me from out of your competitors stores. That trust and piece of mind is prices less. "I wasn't really shopping for a Harley, I really had my eye on a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500. I thought, 'what the heck, I'll take a look at some Harleys'. I stopped in the Bluegrass dealership, and was treated like a pariah. ( I guess I don't really look like the typical Harley rider) I went into your dealership, and was greeted by a salesman. He wasn't pushy or intrusive, but he WAS very informative and helpful. He invited me to sit on several bikes. I spoke with him for about 30 minutes on my first visit, still, not thinking that I was interested in a Harley. I paid two more visits to your dealership. On my second visit, I was greeted by the same salesman, John. Again, he was very helpful, and even fired up a couple of bikes for me to listen to. John talked to me about several different models, options and even exhaust. I asked question after question. I did stop in the Bluegrass Harley dealer a couple more times, but was treated the same every time, poorly. So, after having decided on a Harley instead of the Kawasaki, I decided that I could only buy from your establishment, and with John as my salesman. I took some time to look around in the clothing area of your store, and met Ruthie. She too, was terrific. (did I mention that John was terrific?) My entire experience was a pleasure, sincerely. It never felt like I was being 'sold', or that I was even at a dealership. I felt like I made a couple of new friends. That was perfect for me, as that's what I do for a living, I make new friends every day, and show them a great time in my restaurant, Morton's Steakhouse. Thanks very much John, I love my new Sportster custom, though I haven't really had much of a chance to ride yet. This past week, I heard was a great week to ride, and wouldn't you know it, I was out of town for the week. I'll see you again soon, as I intend to put on the pipes that we were talking about. "This was my first visit at the showroom and I went there to buy clothes. I loved my visit there and how nice and sincere everyone was there. I look forward to going back again. "We came in looking for a windshield for my wife's bike ('07 Dyna Low Rider) and Mark McGee was the gentlemen at the parts counter that helped us. He was fabulous, he talked to us as people not as "customers that were bothering him" as we see in some companies. He checked on everything that we asked of him and also was able to get us into the service department to install the windshield and also get my 1000 mile service. When we come back we will definately find Mark for assistance. Others in the Store were helpful but Mark really stood out as top notch. Thank you for such a pleasant experience. "
